Pediatric Occupational Therapy at the Zone

Cheshire Fitness Zone occupational therapists have years of experience working with children across various settings and ranging in age from birth to 18 They work with children of all abilities. Occupational therapists work with children to improve self help skills, activities of daily living, fine motor skills, sensory integration and upper extremity and core strength.

Occupational therapists can help children across a variety of special populations which include but are not limited to:

• Spectrum disorders
• Neurological impairments
• Sensory integration disorder
• Fine motor delays
• Hypotonia
• Developmental delay

Our therapists start with an assessment of your child’s needs. They willl talk with you to evaluate your child’s needs then work with you to develop goals to enhance your child’s function. Our therapists will provide you with a home exercise program and provide you with feedback on a regular basis regarding your child's progress.
