The Hanen Program for Parents of Children with Language Delays

It Takes Two to Talk Program is an evidence-based, effective program, known around the world for parents of children (18m-5y) who have language delays and/or developmental challenges of all kinds. This program teaches parents to promote language development during everyday activities.

What Parents Learn:

  • How your child communicates right now & next steps to take
  • What motivates your child to communicate
  • How to engage your child in conversation
  • Turn evertday activites into opportunities to learn language
  • Fine-tune what you say to your child

What it Offers:

  • A consultation for you and your child before the program begins
  • A 10 week long series of classes for small groups of parents
  • 3 individual consultations

  • Starting Monday’s September 30th running through December 2nd
  • 9:00-10:30 AM
