Our Cheshire facility is our main location and is comprised of two levels of therapeutic space.  The lower level features the physical therapy gym with rock climbing wall, numerous pieces of pediatric and adolescent cardio equipment, and a large open space for therapeutic activities.  This level also has two private treatment rooms.

The second level of the Cheshire facility houses our occupational therapy and speech therapy departments, as well as our feeding therapy space.  Here you can find two sensory rooms equipped with various therapy swings, ball pit, trampoline and a multitude of sensory and fine motor materials as well as two smaller fine motor rooms.  Our feeding therapy space is stocked with various oral motor tools, feeding equipment and adaptive seating and a fully functioning kitchen area.   The speech department is comprised of 5 private treatment rooms, equipped with a vast array of testing materials and treatment tools.

My twelve year old daughter has been seeing Craig since she was four years old and she loves coming to the ‘gym.’ I love that she refers to it as the ‘gym’ instead of therapy. She sees her therapy as a place where she works her body to become stronger and has fun. She is disappointed if therapy is canceled. A five star rating would not be enough for Cheshire Fitness Zone! From the first time I called to schedule my son’s consult to now one year later, we are consistently greeted by the most caring and loving staff. My son goes to Cheshire Fitness Zone for oral motor/speech therapy and sees Miss Kim. When I say she is the best, she truly is! From day one she has put her heart and soul into my child’s therapy. The strides my son has made in one year is amazing. I am so happy we came to Cheshire Fitness Zone. My daughter injured her hip figure skating. Another physical therapist diagnosed and treated her incorrectly. Luckily when we came to Cheshire Fitness Zone and saw Craig he discovered her injury was something else and much more of a serious injury. In fact, we were referred to a Pedi orthopedist who concluded with Craig’s diagnosis. The orthopedist said it was a good find, very difficult to catch, and often missed. My daughter had surgery and is now recovering and seeing Craig for rehab. She is almost done and doing well. Highly recommended Cheshire Fitness Zone.
